Even the 2010 Christmas Dinner, which as usual was held in the fairytale setting of Rezzanello castle (at Gazzola, near Piacenza), was determined to be an opportunity to show solidarity and offer concrete help to those less fortunate. The traditional lottery in aid of UNICEF raised record sums, with all the proceeds being presented to the President of Unicef Piacenza, Gianni Cuminetti, who will send the money to rehabilitation centers for child soldiers and street children in the Congo.
